On-Site Activities


Reiki is an energy healing technique that involves a Reiki master using gentle hand movements. These motions guide the flow of healthy energy (what’s known in Reiki as “life force energy”) throughout the body to reduce stress and promote healing. Reiki is a form of complementary medicine; there’s evidence it can reduce daily stress and help with the management of some chronic diseases.


Rice Lake is known as a fishing paradise. For over 150 years, Rice Lake, Ontario has been a prime destination for fishers. Pan Fish, walleye, bluegill, muskie and bass are all here in abundance.

Kayaking & Paddleboarding

Rice Lake is a prime location for water sports. Paddling is a highly social activity, and standing on water is an unmatched, therapeutic sensation! Paddlers often communally report a profound sense of well-being similar to ‘runners high’–but without the need for intense exertion! Kayaking is also an amazing opportunity to exercise, form bonds and reduce stress.

Off-Site Activities


Northumberland County is home to many beautiful courses. From a historic Scottish links course to Robbie Robinson’s champion fairways, our facilities are near some of the best golf vistas in Ontario.

Farm Experience

Experience the scenic countryside alongside welcoming farm animals! Interact with cows, rabbits, ducks, dogs, donkeys and horses. There are also opportunities to go horseback riding in the arena, or on nearby trails with an experienced guide.


Northumberland Forest is right at our doorstep! Within 5.500 acres of mainly forested land, there is a 118 km trail network–ranging in trails from 2 to 25 km. There’s a hiking adventure for everyone!


Enjoy an afternoon on the lake. Boating promotes physiological and psychological changes, spanning health, wellness, wonder, creativity, happiness and relaxation.
